THE FULL CIRCLE FUND - INTEGRATIVE HEALTH

Wellnet seeks to improve health in low to moderate income (LMI) communities using integrative healthcare services. By combining conventional and complementary medical services at the planned Wellnet’s Integrative Health Clinic, we will design, implement and evaluate innovative public health services.

“Integrative Medicine is patient-centered care that focuses on healing the whole person—mind, body and spirit in the context of community. Combining the best of Western scientific medicine with a broader understanding of the nature of illness, healing and wellness, integrative medicine makes use of all appropriate therapeutic approaches and evidenced-based global medical modalities to achieve optimal health and healing.”

Wellnet’s Workplace Wellness Program

Our clinic will specialize in delivering high quality employee benefit plan services to area employers who wish to utilize cost effective integrative health modalities to promote wellness, reduce healthcare costs, and increase productivity of their workforce.

Through a contract with their employer, some clients are getting enrolled into the Wellnet’s Workplace Wellness Program.  It is an innovative cost sharing program, where healthcare dollars are utilized at the Clinic through one of our workplace wellness benefits packages.

Full Circle Fund

Wellnet is also creating a Full Circle Fund which provides LMI individuals increased access to health care methods which successfully address chronic health issues proven to be greatly affected by lifestyle choices such as nutrition, exercise and stress management.
For clients with limited economic means, services would be made available through the Full Circle Fund.  Clients in consultation with their Wellnet practitioner will be able to apply for support (based on a sliding scale) for a set course of treatment that they have co-created with their practitioner.  Clients receiving these benefits will have a co-pay for services, along with financial aid from the Fund.  Their Full Circle contribution is through their participation in the research of our clinical outcomes, and potentially a small request for volunteering at the clinic.

Our Commitment to Clinical Outcomes Research…

The Wellnet Foundation’s goal in establishing the Integrative Health Clinic is to improve the quality and efficacy of health care delivery in low- moderat income populations, as well as provide comprehensive integrative health care services to the community at large. We strive to design, implement and evaluate innovative public health services. Our research department will create a methodology which will compare the impact of our whole practice, individualized treatment on costs and clinical outcomes.
The evaluation of our clinical outcomes provides critical information for healthcare decision makers, such as employers, public agencies, and insurers.  Outcomes will be reported regarding: clinical health improvement, quality of life markers and workplace performance, such as absenteeism and presenteeism.
